Crafted in the 1880s by the Bradford Brothers of Torquay, this striking brooch is a rare example of late Victorian Scottish agate jewellery bearing a full maker’s mark.

The dynamic, layered leaf design is formed from polished native agates, including rust-red jasper, golden moss, and grey dendritic stones - each one cut to fit and individually set in silver.

Stamped “BRADFORD PATENT, 4 VICTORIA PARADE, TORQUAY”, the piece is also a historical souvenir from one of the southwest’s most respected makers.

At 8cm long, it offers statement-scale elegance while remaining wearable, collectable, and full of character - a standout souvenir jewel from Britain’s agate revival era.

A highly collectable pece of Victorian jewellery history, beautifully preserved.

Available exclusively at ELTONS, Grays Antique Market, Mayfair, London.
