An exquisite Edwardian silver and enamel vesta case, finely hand-painted with an early 20th-century countryside scene. The detailed enamel work displays superb artistry and depth of colour, framed within a sterling silver body fitted with a hinged lid, striker to the base, and suspension loop for a chain or chatelaine.

Hallmarked for Birmingham 1904, with maker’s mark A.J.T for Albert Jackson Thornhill. Measuring 4.8 cm in height, 3.7 cm in width, and 1 cm in depth.

A beautifully made collector’s piece that captures the craftsmanship and style of the Edwardian period, balancing function and artistry in miniature form.
