A striking Art Deco necklace by renowned German design house Theodor Fahrner, dating to the 1930s and fully marked with “TF” and “925” for silver.
The necklace features a brilliant-cut blue spinel at its centre, measuring approximately 0.9cm in diameter, set within a radiating fan motif of marcasite - classic Deco symmetry with a hint of drama.
The pendant is seamlessly integrated into a marcasite-set silver chain, measuring 42cm in length, completing the design with elegance and cohesion.
Fahrner’s Pforzheim-based firm was known for employing avant-garde artists to create jewellery that fused innovation with accessibility.
This piece reflects that ethos: bold yet wearable, architecturally inspired yet feminine.
The subtle sparkle of the marcasite contrasts beautifully with the saturated hue of the spinel, making this an exceptional collector’s piece with genuine period character.
Available exclusively at ELTONS, Grays Antique Market, Mayfair, London.
