Sri Lankan Sapphire & Diamond Ring in Platinum | Early Art Deco c.1920s

POA

An exquisite early Art Deco ring set with a vivid natural Sri Lankan sapphire weighing 4.03 carats, framed by two old cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.80 carats. The sapphire displays a rich cornflower blue tone, typical of fine Ceylon stones, and is claw set in platinum with delicate openwork shoulders.

English in origin, circa 1920, this elegant design bridges the late Edwardian and early Deco eras. The ring is accompanied by a gemological report confirming the sapphire’s natural origin and Sri Lankan provenance.
