A French agate cameo pendant brooch from the 19th century, crafted in a beautifully made 18 carat gold frame and hallmarked with the eagle’s head. 

The oval cameo, carved in high relief, depicts a classical female in profile facing right, her hair dressed in the Neoclassical style.

Dating to around 1870, this versatile jewel may be worn as either a brooch or a pendant.

Measuring 4cm long by 3cm wide.
