A wonderfully flowing Victorian Scottish brooch, dating to around 1880, crafted in silver and inlaid with a striking variety of polished agates, including banded, jasper, and moss agates carefully cut and fitted together.
Full of beautiful natural colour, this type of brooch was very fashionable in the late 19th century, inspired by Queen Victoria’s passion for Scotland.
A fine example of Victorian Scottish jewellery craftmanship.
