Cabochon Sapphire & Diamond Platinum Ring | Art Deco c.1920s

A wonderful Art Deco ring from the 1920s, crafted in platinum and set with a central cabochon sapphire of approximately 0.70 carats.    

The silky, luminous sapphire is framed by calibré cut sapphires totalling around 0.50 carats, interspersed with rose cut diamonds of approximately 0.35 carats. Sapphires total approximately 1.20 carats.

The circular setting, measuring 1.3cm across, showcases the bold symmetry and rich colour contrasts characteristic of the Deco era.

Currently a size K½, this is a striking example of 1920s craftsmanship and design.
