An elegant Art Deco sapphire and diamond cluster ring, crafted in platinum and 18ct yellow gold, c.1920s.

At the centre sits a deep blue sapphire of approximately 0.40 carats, set in a millegrain bezel and framed by a scalloped border of chunky old cut diamonds totalling around 0.75 carats. 

The diamonds are mounted in platinum with platinum shoulders leading to a gold shank.

Measuring 10mm by 9mm across the head and currently a size R, this is a timeless cluster design that remains a perfect choice for an antique engagement ring.
