A rare Bernard Instone ring from the 1930s, set with a large cabochon of Connemara marble, one of the rarest marbles in the world, quarried only in County Galway, Ireland.

The deep green stone, shimmering with natural variations of hue, is framed in an 18 carat gold rope-twist border with scroll and leaf shoulders, hallmarked BI 18CT.

Measuring 1.8cm by 2cm across the top and currently size L½, this ring reflects Instone’s Arts and Crafts training under Arthur Gaskin, blending natural materials with hand finished gold work.
