Burma Ruby & Enamel 14ct Gold Floral Earrings | Italian c.1950s

A pair of Italian clip on earrings from the 1950s, crafted in 14ct yellow gold and designed as domes of enamelled flowers, each centred with a vivid Burma ruby.

The petals are shaded in cream and orange enamel and the flowers hold approximately 0.70 carats of vivid Burma rubies.

Hallmarked 585 with maker’s mark 1417AL (Alessandria), they are finely made examples of mid century Italian jewellery.

Diameter approximately 1.7cm.
