A finely crafted British vinaigrette in 18ct gold, hallmarked London 1974, with a Leopards Head, MM, and 18ct. 

Designed in an elongated shell form, the surface is decorated with vibrant red guilloché enamel bands edged with fine white enamel detail.

The interior opens to reveal a pierced grille, traditionally used to hold a scented sponge.

Measuring 4.7cm in length, 2.2cm at its widest point, and 1.6cm in depth, this is a rare 20th century reinterpretation of the classic Georgian and Victorian vinaigrette, made with exceptional craftsmanship and preserved in excellent condition.
