A gorgeous antique Saphiret glass necklace, 62cm long and set with graduated oval cut beads.

Saphiret glass was created in late 19th, early 20th century Bohemia by combining liquid glass with gold, producing its signature colour shift from warm mauve brown to ethereal blue.

Each bead is hand knotted on blue silk and finished with a 14ct gold clasp.

A beautiful and scarce example in an unusually longer length.
