A late 19th-century English tiepin, crafted in 9ct gold and formed as a coiled snake.
The head is set with a clear paste stone and accented with small green paste eyes - subtle detailing that adds charm without excess.
The compact, sculptural design is full of movement, with the looped body giving it a sense of form and intent.
Victorian in origin, but with a timeless presence.
Measures 6.5cm long and 2cm wide at the top.
Made in England, c.1880s.
Available exclusively at ELTONS, Grays Antique Market, Mayfair, London.
