Gold & Enamel Lover’s Knot Necklace | Amethysts & Peach Flowers | English or Austrian, c.1905

POA

A rare and poetic Art Nouveau necklace from the early 1900s, crafted in warm yellow gold and designed to sit high on the collarbone.

The centrepiece is a stylised lover’s knot in creamy white enamel, set with three glowing pear shaped amethysts.

The knot, a classic symbol of unity and affection, is both decorative and meaningful.

On either side, peachy pink enamel flowers with yellow centres add a distinct, storybook character, and two deep purple navette cut amethysts are set into the chain.

Combining Art Nouveau curves with Edwardian finesse, this is a romantic, highly wearable antique with lasting appeal.
