A spectacular late Georgian ring, made in England around the 1820s, crafted in 9 carat gold and rich in detail, symbolism, and presence.
The ring centres on a natural pearl, surrounded by a halo of seed pearls, all set against a vivid panel of cobalt blue enamel.
At each corner of the rectangular face, a rose-cut diamond is set into the enamel, adding a subtle, antique sparkle that perfectly contrasts the deep blue ground.
The top of the ring measures approximately 2.3cm by 1.9cm, giving it a bold, elegant scale.
The gold is finely engraved with a radiating motif around the border, and the elevated shoulders feature intricate foliate detail, all hallmarks of early 19th-century British craftsmanship.
Beautifully preserved and highly rare, this ring captures the refinement and expressive design of the Georgian period, a piece of jewellery with both historical weight and lasting visual impact.
