A beautiful brooch in 9ct gold, made in England around 1900 and designed as a feather, a Victorian symbol of hope.
Two rows of natural pearls are set along a gentle curve to form the plume, and at the base a single ruby of approximately 0.20 carats.
Measures 3.5cm in length and preserved in its original fitted box.
