A wonderful 1980s gypsy ring, set with a 1.45 carat natural unheated Ceylon sapphire, framed by two brilliant-cut diamonds, all flush-set in solid 18ct gold.

The sapphire is a clear, open blue, beautifully proportioned and valued for its untreated origin, while the diamonds, totalling approximately 0.20 carats, add the light and balance.

The gold band is substantial and smooth, with softly rounded edges and a mirror-polished finish.

Equally striking on its own or layered with a vintage stack.
