Coinciding with the height of La Belle Époque, a period characterised by optimism, economic prosperity and advancements in technology. Further innovations in jewellery and metallurgy enabled designers to create intricate lace-like designs alongside new techniques in diamond-cutting that enabled the further expression of artistry and opulence that reflected “The Beautiful Era.”


Edwardian jewellery design complemented the white silk and lace worn by affluent and stylish ladies. In addition; Natural Pearls, stones such as Blue Sapphires, Aquamarines, Peridots, Alexandrites and Rubies were often used.
